Aim for clarity. Practise restraint. Keep your shoes polished.

“Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.” – Marcus Aurelius.

I’ve spent the past 25 years working across technology, consulting, and financial services, with a particular focus on acquisition, transformation, and strategy. These days, I serve as President & CEO of Union Benefits, where I help support the health, wellness, and financial security of over 15,000 union members and their families.Along the way, I’ve studied at places like MIT Sloan, London Business School, and the University of Bradford and held roles at organisations including People Corporation, RSA, Deloitte, and ExxonMobil.I’m part of several professional networks, including the CEO Global Network, the Governance Professionals of Canada, the Institute of Corporate Directors, and Chatham House. I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning, probably because I don’t think we ever really get it right the first time.Outside of work, I serve on a number of not-for-profit boards, from community organisations in Hamilton and Toronto to the Oakville Soccer Club, North America’s largest amateur soccer club. I’m also involved with a few City of London (the one in England, for my Canadian friends) institutions, including a City livery company and a North American company of Freemen (not Freemasons, for those who wondered).I care deeply about positive, lasting change and about helping teams and organisations reach the next level through a mix of coaching, planning and just getting things done.
